Not sure if he likes me? will give best answer? help plz?

this guy in my year used to look at me in the corridors and sorta half smile, but that was the end of last year and this year he doesnt do it anymore so i didnt think anything of it. but recently i caught him looking at me from afar, i looked back for a sec, and he smiled, at least i think he did! he only sometimes looks at me so i dont really think he likes me, but im just curious. he also stands/sits near me a lot and a week ago he stood behind me and lent his leg on my chair.. not sure if it means anything. the thing is, hes the hottest guy in the year, and i dont know why he'd like someone like me. im not ugly, but im not amazingly pretty or anything, i mean a handful of guys have liked me but they've been average or under average themselves. i think he'd be the guy to go for mainly looks so idk what he'd see in me! be as harsh as you want, i dont really care i just want opinions. and btw i dont like him so yea i wont get offended by anything!
