Ok should i now tell him if this happened to me?

Ok,this is what happened on tuesday after school i was sitting with my friend carlos whom i really,really like.We were sitting there like for maybe 10min.We were by are selfs,just me and him.I was about to tell him how i like him more then just a friend but then my mom drove up."Just in time hu".lol.There was my chance and it got runened.so we said are good bye hugd and everything and i left as i drove off he was staring at me and waved bye=[what should i do and what do you think about this should i still tell him?
