Why does the moon appear bright than the earth ? Why does the moon reflect more light than the earth?

Moon looks illuminated because it reflects the sun's rays. But when we go to moon and see the earth, the earth wont look as bright as the moon. Why? Please answer me as quickly as possible. Anyone there to answer my question?
