Question for christians - genuine...?

im really curious about this, if someone is a really good person, has been all their life,completely giving, trustworthy and generally follows lifstyle that christians advocate, but he knows nothing of jesus, or chrisitanity, perhaps he lives in a country where there are a very small num of christians, a small village where no one has heard of the religion.....when he dies will he still go to hell due to not being a christian? really curious...
