What political party do I belong to ?

You sound like a free thinking moderate democrat to me. Remember one does not have to agree with everything that a party stands for to vote for them, neither party will be perfect. But one will be closer to your philosophy then the other and those are the candidates that you should support. There may be a conservative moderate that you support and that is okay also.
