I live in New York and almost everyone wears hoodies on certain days as it is windy and cold most of the year. You need to wear a hood on many days or you will get an ear ache or wind burn. It serves a great purpose by concealing the warmth of your body in your neck, shoulders, head and ears as you walk windy streets or wait on cold train platforms, or in the rain, or at a snowy bus stop. Maybe you should wonder why you tend to judge people and society around you at a whole on their appearance and choice of clothes.
