The fragrance outlet, fake perfumes? expired?

So i was at "the fragrance outlet" today. Which Ive seen this store around at malls and outlet plazas and what not. So I bought the Ed hardy perfume. But i was little curious to know why they sell them so cheap? It looks pretty legit. Ive also heard that fragrance outlets sell expired or close to being expired perfume? is this true? help! Dep. store perfumes are so expensive and Ive been designer perfumes at cvs, are they real? and are those "expired" as well? help!
