So, I just got a black moor goldfish yesterday. I have not seen him eat yet and he is not foraging?

What can I do to help him? He is only an inch and a half in a tank with one plant, a red rock bottom, light, and filter system. His water is distilled and I used aquasafe in order to neutralize the chemicals that could have been in the water. Any thoughts?
