While cycling have you ever been questioned in traffic?

While cycling and waiting at a red light for example, have you ever been questioned by drivers or pedestrians about any kind of stuff? What do people ask? Fear of being questioned makes me postpone my decision to start riding a bike. I must add that in my town you can hardly see a biker about every 5 minutes and the male/female ratio is about 13:1. Bike commuting is not very usual.
