Why is abuse always for no reason at all with the victim?

This happens because the abuser feels like he has to control everything.. Maybe something from their past makes them think it's okay. But for whatever the reason it isn't right.. The reason that that person most likely comes back and keeps abusing the same victim is because they think they can get away with it... Or maybe the victim is too scared to tell anyone so he knows that if he hasn't been told on yet maybe he never will be.. Either way though it is NEVER the victims fault...
